Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Castro De Rei?
The best time to visit Castro De Rei is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the region is less crowded.

For those who enjoy warmer temperatures and a bustling atmosphere, the summer months of July and August are also suitable. During this period, you'll find more local festivals and events taking place, particularly those celebrating traditional Galician culture and gastronomy. However, be prepared for more tourists and potentially higher prices for accommodation.

If your priority is hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the area, then May, June, September, and October offer mild temperatures, making it comfortable to spend extended periods outdoors.
